Description: Como parte de las tareas desarrolladas por el INEGI y una vez concluido el Programa de Certificación de Derechos Ejidales y Titulación de Solares Urbanos (PROCEDE), el INEGI dio tratamiento a la información obtenida en los trabajos técnico-operativos para la medición y elaboración de los productos cartográficos de la propiedad social y obtuvo la Base de Datos Geográfica Catastral (BDGC), la cual está conformada en capas de información cuyos elementos gráficos se encuentran asociados a la información que los describe (datos tabulares). Una de sus capas es la Capa de Áreas Parceladas, cuya información se refiere al área superficie agrícola asignada en particular a cada ejidatario, quien tiene derecho de aprovechar, usar y usufructuar su parcela. El conjunto de datos de la Capa de Áreas Parceladas representa información sobre sus características propias como lo son la ubicación geográfica, la referencia cartográfica y el número de parcelas que la componen. LOS METADATOS ESTÁN SIENDO ACTUALIZADOS CONFORME A LA NORMA TÉCNICA PARA LA ELABORACIÓN DE METADATOS GEOGRÁFICOS (NTM).
